We Already Lost A Child Before Ananya… I Cannot Lose Her Too. 

At just four years old, little Ananya has already lived through more suffering than most of us can imagine.

 From the time she was only one month old, her tiny body has been battling hydrocephalus, a dangerous condition in which fluid builds up inside the brain, increasing pressure and putting her life at constant risk.

Her mother recalls those early days with tears in her eyes: “We thought she was just a weak baby, but then the doctors told us her brain was filling with fluid. From that moment, our lives changed forever. We don’t know how long she can survive like this… every day feels like we’re racing against time.”

Her father, a daily wage labourer, earns just ₹400 a day barely enough to keep food on the table. Still, he has done everything in his power, spending nearly ₹40,000 so far on hospital visits, tests, and temporary treatments. But proper surgery, the only real chance to save Ananya, has always been beyond reach.

Her mother explains the pain of helplessness: “I watch her suffer, her head hurting, her body weak, and I feel like I am failing as a mother. We already lost a child before Ananya… I cannot lose her too. She is our miracle, our blessing after so much pain.”

Ananya’s elder brother, just 8 years old, studies in class 2 at a government school. But even his little heart knows something is wrong. He watches silently as his parents rush between hospitals, praying that his sister will one day come home healthy and safe.

Recently, Ananya’s condition worsened, and she was admitted to Ganesh Hospital, Ghaziabad. The doctors gave her parents the harsh truth: unless she undergoes urgent surgery and full medical treatment, her chances of survival will keep slipping away. The estimated cost is ₹8.90 lakhs, an unimaginable sum for a man who earns ₹400 a day.

To make matters worse, the family lives 80 km away from the hospital. Every trip means long, exhausting journeys, extra costs, and the constant fear that one delay could endanger Ananya further.

But despite everything, Ananya’s parents refuse to give up. Her father says, “I will work all my life if it means my daughter can be saved. But right now, I don’t even know where to bring this money from. Please help us, she deserves a chance to live.”

Her mother’s words pierce through every heart: “We don’t know how long she can survive like this. Every night I go to sleep afraid… will my daughter wake up tomorrow? Please, we just want to see her grow, play, go to school like other children. Please save our little girl.”
