Project:
If 7-month-old Punch’s story moved you…
then 7-month-old Vansh’s truth will bring tears to your eyes.
Vansh’s mother left this world the moment she gave birth to him. Before he could feel the warmth of her touch, before she could whisper his name or hold him close, she was gone forever. He was never blessed with a mother’s love, not even her milk. The first chapter of his life began with unbearable loss.
Because of helpless circumstances, his differently-abled father could not arrange blood in time. Poverty and delay stole away the woman who held their family together. In a single day, this father lost his wife… and little Vansh lost the only person who could have comforted him through every storm.
Today, at just 7 months old, Vansh is fighting battles far bigger than his tiny body should ever face. For the past month, he has been struggling to breathe. Diagnosed with Acute Sepsis, ARDS, FTT, and MODS, he lies in the NICU at Swastik Hospital, surrounded by beeping machines and cold hospital walls. Tubes are attached to his fragile body. Machines breathe for him when he is too weak to breathe on his own. Every breath he takes feels like a fight between life and death.
Outside the NICU stands his father – a differently-abled daily wage laborer who earns barely ₹200-₹300 a day, around ₹6,000 a month. By day, he works with exhausted hands and aching feet. By night, he stands silently in hospital corridors, staring at the door that separates him from his son, praying for every fragile breath to continue. He has already lost his wife because he couldn’t afford timely care. He cannot bear to lose his son too.
At home, Vansh’s 7-year-old sister waits for her little brother to return. She doesn’t fully understand the machines or the medical terms, she only knows that her brother is not home.
The treatment costs ₹12 lakh an amount impossible for this family. But for Vansh, it means a chance to grow up, to run, to laugh, to call out “Papa.”
Today, this father is not asking for comfort. He is not asking for sympathy. He is only asking for a chance to save his son.
Your donation, however big or small, can help keep Vansh’s tiny heart beating.
Please come forward.
